In a landmark moment for academic-industry collaboration, the Media Studies Department – University of South Asia, Lahore signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Radio Pakistan ريڈیو پاکستان .
The MoU was formally signed by Ms. Sadia Majeed, Head of Department – Media Studies, and Dr. @SohailAhmerBasra ,Station Director – Radio Pakistan.
Ms. Syeda Sumblah Bukhari(Lecturer & Coordinator) and Mr. Usama Saleem (Lecturer, Media Studies) attended the ceremony as official witnesses.
Students of 6th Semester – Media Studies also participated in the event, gaining valuable exposure to the professional media environment.
This MoU aims to open new avenues for internships, training, joint projects, and knowledge exchange—bridging the gap between academia and the dynamic world of broadcast media.
