FAQs
Quick answers about the Work-Based Scholarship, study loan, fees and payments, admissions, eligibility and refunds for Fall 2026.
Scholarships & Study Loan
What scholarships does the University of South Asia offer?
Our main scholarship is the Work-Based Scholarship (WBS) — earned by working, not by marks. Working 10 hours/week online earns 40% off tuition (payable Rs 120,000/semester); 5 hours/week earns 20% off (payable Rs 160,000/semester).
How do I get the 40% Work-Based Scholarship?
Commit to 10 hours/week of online work. The scholarship is tied to completing the weekly online work commitment — your payable tuition becomes Rs 120,000 per semester on standard Rs 200,000 programs.
Which programs are eligible for the Work-Based Scholarship?
Every Rs 200,000 program — Bachelor, Associate (ADP), Master’s and PhD, including PharmD. It does not apply to LLB or Professional Diplomas, which follow their own fee policy.
How does the study loan work?
On top of the Work-Based Scholarship you can take a further 40% study loan, bringing your payable tuition down to about Rs 72,000 per semester. If you take the loan, you commit to an extra 10 hours/week of online work — 20 hours/week in total. No approval committee is required, and the loan is repaid only after you start earning, in 6 easy instalments under a signed undertaking.
When do I repay the study loan?
Only after you start earning. Repayment is made in 6 easy instalments under a signed undertaking, so it begins once you are financially able.
Do Professional Diplomas have scholarships or loans?
No. Diplomas have a flat fee of Rs 30,000 (plus Rs 5,000 one-time registration) with no scholarship or study loan. Pay in full for a 10% discount, or in 3 monthly instalments of Rs 10,000.
Fees & Payments
How much is the tuition fee?
Every standard Bachelor and Associate (ADP) program — including DPT, PharmD and Bachelor of Architecture — is Rs 200,000 per semester. LLB is Rs 160,000. Master’s and PhD programs are also Rs 200,000 per semester, and the Work-Based Scholarship and study loan apply to them too. Professional Diplomas are Rs 30,000 total.
What one-time fees do I pay at admission?
Rs 30,000 — made up of Rs 25,000 registration and Rs 5,000 application. For Professional Diplomas the one-time registration is Rs 5,000.
Can I pay the fee in instalments?
Yes. At admission you pay Rs 30,000 + 50% of the first semester’s tuition, and the remaining 50% by Nov 10. Later semesters are split into two instalments — Spring: Feb 10 & Apr 10; Fall: Sep 10 & Nov 10. The accounts office arranges the exact plan.
How do I pay for a Professional Diploma?
Pay the Rs 30,000 in full for a 10% discount, or in 3 monthly instalments of Rs 10,000. Diplomas also include a free trial (one topic of lecture 1), a 7-day refund for unsatisfied daily learners, and the option to change diploma within the first month (up to 2 times).
Admissions & Eligibility
How do I apply?
Four steps: (1) Apply online on the website or visit a campus; (2) Submit documents — Matric & Intermediate certificates/result cards, CNIC or B-Form, and photographs; (3) Pay the Rs 30,000 one-time admission & application fee; (4) Enrollment is confirmed after document verification.
Is there an entry test or interview?
No University entry test or interview is required unless notified by the University or a relevant regulatory body. LLB requires the HEC LAT with a minimum of 50%.
When are the intakes?
Two intakes each year — Spring intake in February and Fall intake in September.
What are the minimum marks required?
Most Bachelor programs require 40–50% in Intermediate (BBA, BBIT and BS Computer Science 50%, Commerce 40%). DPT requires 60% F.Sc Pre-Medical with Biology, PharmD 60% with Biology, Chemistry & Physics, and LLB 45% plus HEC LAT 50%. MS/MPhil needs a minimum 2.0 CGPA (16 years education) plus admission test and interview; PhD needs a minimum 2.0 CGPA or 60% in 16 years of relevant education plus test/interview as per University policy. See the full eligibility table on the Admission Guidelines page.
My result is awaited — can I still apply?
Yes. Awaiting-result students may take provisional admission; final admission is confirmed once the final result meets the program’s eligibility. If it does not, the University may guide you to transfer to another program you are eligible for — subject to marks, subject background, seats and University rules.

What is the tuition refund policy?
