The Office of Corporate linkages is actively seeking and welcoming new partnerships and collaborations. This quarter alone, we have signed over 40 MOUs across various sectors, including IT, healthcare, project management, fashion, and software houses. We are thrilled to announce a significant milestone for the University of South Asia. This quarter comprises significant collaboration with the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) and the Punjab Job Center. Through this MOU, we aim to offer career support to help our graduates and students excel in their future careers.

The Office of Corporate Linkages and Placements collaborated with Medxol, Pakistan’s first digital healthcare marketplace. This significant partnership underscores our commitment to enhancing the well-being of our employees by providing them with innovative healthcare solutions.
The Office of Corporate Linkages and Placements joined hands with the PMI Lahore Chapter. We extend our special thanks to the PMI Lahore Chapter team, including Dr. Khalid Ahmad Khan, Masood Said (PMI-PMP, RMP, ACP), DTM, BSc. Mech Engr., Ammarah Shahzad, and Zaka ul Mustafa Awan, for making this collaboration possible. This partnership is poised to explore advanced research areas in project management, emphasizing the substantial benefits of PMI certifications and the evolving dynamics of the field. The Office of Corporate Linkages and Placements is excited to share our latest initiative in fostering meaningful industry collaborations. We recently hosted a dynamic workshop in partnership with HR Learning Forum and Insure Kar, attracting over 50 industry leaders who brought their expertise and enthusiasm to the event. Qalab-e-Abbas, Maria Shaffi, Rabia Shahzad, Farukh Malik, Prof. Iqbal Shoukat, Faisal Nadeem, and Bilal Azam (SHRM-SCP, PHRi, ISO EOMS Certified) their efforts are recognized and appreciated.
The University of South Asia proudly hosted a remarkable event featuring over 100 industrial speakers, including notable contributions from TimeTrax and PIPD. This gathering provided an invaluable opportunity for students to engage with leading experts across various sectors, gaining insights and inspiration for their future careers. The Office of Corporate Linkages and Placements recently met with the Fahad Shahbaz, the Focal Person of the Prime Minister Youth Program. The delegation included Rabia Shahzad Manager external linkages, Rida Khan Head of Nano Degree Program, and Zobia Zafar Head of the Computer Science Department we are proud to support the Prime Minister’s Youth Program in cultivating a proficient workforce. We are enthusiastic about launching new initiatives and anticipate a significant positive impact on our students and the broader community.
We are thrilled to share that our students took on the significant responsibility of overseeing the Lahore High Court Bar Association Pakistan Election 2024. Their diligence and ethical conduct throughout the process exemplify their readiness to serve in civic and community roles. In recognition of their hard work, Mian Irfan Akram, Advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan and Chairman of the Election Board, along with Haseeb Ullah Khan and Khudadad Chattha, Deputy Chairmen, awarded shields and certificates to our deserving students and the organizing team, Rabia Shahzad and Rida Khan.

This event saw diverse industries converge to illuminate pathways for our students promising futures, providing an invaluable platform for them to engage with leading organizations across various sectors, explore internship opportunities, and gain insights into potential career paths.

The event featured a diverse range of participating companies, including Punjab Information Technology Board , EFU Life Assurance Ltd., PNY Trainings, NeXskill, ZAI SYSTEMS LIMITED, CyberMart India, Sparx Smartphones, TRICON SALES & MARKETING PRIVATE LIMITED, Ability Education, Times Consultant (Pvt.) Employability Week at the University of South Asia was a resounding success, featuring a series of enlightening sessions. A captivating session on “Career Planning & Goal Setting” with the renowned Qasim Ali Shah, who provided invaluable insights on career strategies and life goals, inspiring students to strive for excellence. The event was further elevated by the presence of our respected Vice Chancellor, Mian Imran Masood.
Additionally, the Computer Science Department arranged an informative session where Aqsa Durrani shared her expertise on Personal branding. It conclude with a profound discussion led by Adeel Hashmi on the Importance of Integrity, highlighting the impact of upholding values on personal and professional success. The sessions were filled with enriching seminars and workshops, setting a high standard for the rest of the week. We extend our deepest gratitude to all participants and speakers who made this day a success and contributed to the impactful Employability Week 2024.
