This program is built for the AI era, where physiotherapists must combine clinical knowledge, movement science, rehabilitation skills, patient communication, and AI-supported learning. From the first semester, students learn Applied AI and Prompt Engineering, Content Writing, Visual Content Creation, Digital Marketing, and No-Code Web and Mobile App Development using GitHub Copilot. This means students can begin earning safely through health awareness content, clinic websites, rehabilitation education posts, visual explainers, appointment pages, and digital support for healthcare professionals. This is not just a DPT degree. It is a university-supported pathway to become a future-ready physiotherapist, rehabilitation educator, healthcare communicator, and clinic entrepreneur.

The Admission and Registration Fee is a one-time charge and becomes payable only after you receive your provisional admission offer. Nothing is payable to submit an application.

Scholarship & Study Loan

  • Work-Based Scholarship available
  • Study Loan available

Work-Based Scholarship (WBS): work 10 hours/week online for 40% off (payable Rs 120,000/sem) or 5 hours/week for 20% off. Earned by working — not by marks.

Study Loan: an additional 40% study loan brings the payable amount to ~Rs 72,000/semester. Repaid after the student starts earning, in 6 instalments under a signed undertaking.

How the Scholarship Works

Admission Requirements


Admission to DPT is designed for science-background students who are ready for a demanding professional healthcare program. The eligibility rules are stricter than a general bachelor degree because students move toward clinical learning, supervised patient-related practice, professional documentation, and healthcare responsibilities where discipline, ethics, communication, and patient safety are essential from the beginning.

Basic Qualification Required: Higher Secondary School Certificate, A-Level, or IBCC-equivalent qualification involving 12 years of schooling

Required Subject Background: Any science group with any of the subjects Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Anatomy, Physiology, or Physiotherapy

Minimum Marks: At least 60% cumulative score

Entry Test / Admission Screening: The University may set higher eligibility scores and may conduct an entry/admission test through its own or approved external testing system as per statutory approval

Equivalence Requirement: O/A-Level, foreign board, or foreign qualification must meet IBCC equivalence requirements

Lateral Entry: Not permitted. Admission is allowed only at the commencement of the first semester

Associate Degree Exit: Not permitted. DPT is an integrated professional degree and students must complete the full program to be eligible for the award of DPT

Professional / Council Requirement: Any stricter requirement prescribed by a relevant accreditation or regulatory council shall apply where applicable

Degree Completion CGPA: CGPA must not be below 2.00/4.00 at completion; the University may set a higher standard

Duration, Credit Hours, and Program Structure

The DPT program is a five-year professional bachelor pathway with a minimum of 189 credit hours. The structure includes 34 credit hours of General Education, 96 credit hours of major physical therapy and clinical health science courses, 31 credit hours of interdisciplinary health sciences and supporting courses, 22 credit hours of supervised clinical practice, 3 credit hours of supervised internship, and 3 credit hours of capstone or research project. The minimum duration is 5 years.

What is the semester fee for DPT?

The current semester fee for DPT is PKR 130,000 per semester, subject to official admission-system confirmation and University policy.

How much merit scholarship can I get?

For this program, the merit scholarship slabs are: 90% and above marks: 40% scholarship; 80% to 89% marks: 35% scholarship; 70% to 79% marks: 30% scholarship; and 60% to 69% marks: 20% scholarship. Scholarship is subject to verification, approval, seat availability, continuation requirements, discipline, attendance, and maintaining the required CGPA.

Are kinship and alumni discounts available?

Kinship discount of 25% and alumni discount of 50% may be available where applicable and approved under University policy. The final applicable benefit is confirmed through the University admission and finance process.

Can students apply for installments or study loan support?

Students may apply for installment flexibility and up to 50% study loan support subject to University approval. Approved students may be required to complete 10 hours per week on assigned online University projects or approved work, and the loan is repayable in 12 installments according to the approved repayment schedule and signed undertaking.

Is financial support automatic?

No. Scholarship, installment, discount, and loan support are not automatic. Students must apply, provide required documents, meet eligibility conditions, and receive approval according to University policy.

How are refunds handled?

Refunds, if applicable, are processed according to University/HEC refund rules and the approved refund timeline. Admission or application fee is normally non-refundable unless a specific rule states otherwise.
