BS Psychology

AI can process information, but human behavior, emotions, motivation, learning, culture, and wellbeing still require psychological understanding. BS Psychology prepares students to understand people scientifically while using AI and digital tools responsibly for learning, research, awareness, and communication.

Students begin with writing, AI-enabled design, ICT, functional English, entrepreneurship, introduction to psychology, and observation/reflection skills. This gives them communication confidence, digital fluency, and psychology foundations from the start.

Yes. Students can build portfolios in psychoeducation, wellbeing visuals, surveys, research summaries, community awareness, HR-related material, school-support content, and digital psychology communication under academic and ethical boundaries.

The program combines psychology theory, research, ethics, AI-supported learning, data tools, digital communication, internship, capstone work, and specialization cluster options instead of relying only on lectures.

Students can build safe beginner portfolios in psychology awareness, wellbeing content, surveys, research summaries, educational visuals, HR support material, and community projects while staying within ethical limits.

The degree can support progression toward clinical, counseling, or health psychology pathways, but independent clinical or therapeutic practice normally requires further qualification, supervised training, registration, licensing, or employer approval.

Market relevance comes from combining psychology knowledge with research methods, data interpretation, AI fluency, ethical communication, digital content, internships, capstone work, and specialization-focused electives.

Applicants with 12 years of education through Intermediate, A-Level, or an IBCC-recognized equivalent qualification may apply.

Psychology may accept applicants from different intermediate subject backgrounds, subject to University admission policy, document verification, and official confirmation.

Awaiting-result students may apply provisionally according to University rules. Final admission is confirmed after result submission, document verification, eligibility confirmation, fee payment, and seat availability.

Yes. O/A Level, foreign board, or foreign qualification applicants must provide equivalence from the relevant authority as required by University policy.

ADP Psychology students may apply for continuation into BS Psychology, normally from the fifth semester where allowed, subject to required CGPA, seat availability, scheme compatibility, deficiency or bridging requirements, and University approval.

The normal duration is four years, completed through eight regular semesters.

The roadmap contains 136 credit hours, including General Education, Major/Core courses, Interdisciplinary/Allied courses, Electives/Specialization courses, Internship/Field Experience, and Capstone/Research Project.

Yes. The roadmap includes Internship/Field Experience so students can gain supervised exposure in an approved academic, community, HR, research, wellbeing, or psychology-related setting.

Yes. The capstone or research project is a culminating supervised academic requirement where students integrate psychology theory, methods, ethics, evidence, and applied communication.

Yes. The model roadmap uses mixed high-value electives, while students who want a specialization pathway may take all seven elective courses from one approved cluster where offered and formally approved.

The current undergraduate semester fee for Humanities and Social Sciences programs is PKR 100,000 per semester, subject to official admission system confirmation and University policy.

For undergraduate programs, the merit scholarship slabs are: 90% and above marks: 40% scholarship; 80% to 89% marks: 35% scholarship; 70% to 79% marks: 30% scholarship; and 60% to 69% marks: 20% scholarship. Scholarship is subject to verification, approval, seat availability, continuation requirements, discipline, attendance, and maintaining the required CGPA.
