The Bachelor of Studies in English is a four-year undergraduate degree spread over eight regular semesters with 136 credit hours. Its structure includes General Education, compulsory Major/Core English courses, selected Specialization/Elective courses, Interdisciplinary courses, Internship, and a Capstone Project. The degree progresses from foundational reading, writing, linguistics, and literary study to advanced literature, language, research, language technology, internship, and capstone work.

Students with HSSC, A-Level, or an IBCC-recognized equivalent qualification involving 12 years of education may apply, subject to the minimum marks requirement and University admission rules.

Yes. English is open to students from any subject group, subject to University policy, eligibility verification, and seat availability.

Is an entry test or interview required?

No entry test or interview is mentioned for this program unless the University separately approves or notifies one for admission processing.

Can awaiting-result students apply?

The current program semester fee is PKR 100,000 per semester for Humanities and Social Sciences undergraduate programs, subject to official admission system confirmation and University policy.

How much merit scholarship can I get?

For this program, the merit scholarship slabs are: 90% and above marks: 40% scholarship; 80% to 89% marks: 35% scholarship; 70% to 79% marks: 30% scholarship; and 60% to 69% marks: 20% scholarship. Scholarship is subject to verification, approval, seat availability, continuation requirements, discipline, attendance, and maintaining the required CGPA.
