This program is built for the AI era, where legal professionals must understand law, ethics, research, argumentation, documentation, digital evidence, and AI-supported legal analysis. From the first semester, students learn Applied AI and Prompt Engineering, Content Writing, Visual Content Creation, Digital Marketing, and No-Code Web and Mobile App Development using GitHub Copilot. This means students can begin earning safely through legal awareness content, law firm websites, public education posts, case-summary writing, YouTube scripts, and digital support for legal professionals. This is not just a law degree. It is a professional pathway to become a future-ready lawyer, legal researcher, public communicator, and law-focused entrepreneur.

A sessional gap after completing 12 years of education should not be treated as a bar to admission where the applicant has completed the required qualification and cleared the LAT, subject to University admission processing and applicable legal education rules.

The Bachelor of Laws (LLB) is a 4-year professional undergraduate degree spread over 8 regular semesters with 146 credit hours. Its structure includes 35 credit hours of General Education, 75 credit hours of core law/major courses, 18 credit hours of selected law electives, 12 credit hours of interdisciplinary/allied courses, 3 credit hours of supervised internship/field experience, and 3 credit hours of capstone project.

Who is eligible to apply for the LLB program?

Students who have completed 12 years of education through Intermediate, A-Level, or an IBCC-recognized equivalent qualification with at least 45% marks may apply, provided they also meet LAT and University admission requirements.

Is the Law Admission Test required for LLB?

Yes. For LLB admission, students must pass the Law Admission Test (LAT) conducted through ETC-HEC with at least 50% marks, subject to the applicable legal education framework.

Is there any upper age limit for LLB admission?

No upper age limit is applied according to the guiding principles of the revised curriculum. Admission remains subject to completion of the required qualification, LAT clearance, University policy, document verification, and official admission-system confirmation.

Can students with a study gap apply?

Yes. A sessional gap after completing 12 years of education should not be treated as a bar to admission if the applicant fulfills the qualification requirement, clears LAT, and meets University and legal education rules.

Can A-Level or foreign qualification students apply?

Yes. Students with A-Level, foreign board, or other equivalent qualifications may apply, but they must submit the required IBCC equivalence or relevant equivalence document for verification.

Can awaiting-result students apply?

Awaiting-result students may apply provisionally where allowed by University policy. Final admission is confirmed only after submission and verification of the final result and fulfillment of all eligibility requirements, including LAT where applicable.

What is the duration of the LLB program?

The LLB program is normally completed in 4 years through 8 regular semesters.

How many credit hours are required?

The revised University model roadmap carries 146 credit hours including general education, core law courses, electives, interdisciplinary courses, internship, and capstone project.

Does the program include internship?

Yes. The program includes supervised internship or field experience of 3 credit hours. Students complete it according to University, HEC, and applicable legal education requirements.

Does the program include a capstone project?

Yes. The program includes a 3-credit capstone project where students apply legal research, analysis, drafting, ethics, and problem-solving to a supervised legal issue or practice-oriented topic.

Why are General Education courses included in LLB?

General Education courses build communication, digital literacy, ethics, quantitative reasoning, civic responsibility, entrepreneurship, and AI-era learning skills that support professional legal education.

What is the semester fee for LLB?

The current program semester fee for LLB is PKR 160,000 per semester, subject to official admission-system confirmation and University policy.

How much merit scholarship can I get?

For undergraduate programs, the merit scholarship slabs are: 90% and above marks: 40% scholarship; 80% to 89% marks: 35% scholarship; 70% to 79% marks: 30% scholarship; and 60% to 69% marks: 20% scholarship. Scholarship is subject to verification, approval, seat availability, continuation requirements, discipline, attendance, and maintaining the required CGPA.

Are kinship and alumni discounts available?

Kinship and alumni discounts may be available subject to verification, eligibility, and University policy. The final applicable benefit is confirmed through the University admission and finance process.

Can students apply for installments or study loan support?

Students may apply for installment flexibility and up to 50% study loan support subject to University approval. Approved students may be required to complete assigned University online or project work and repay according to the approved schedule.

Is financial support automatic?

No. Scholarship, installment, discount, and loan support are not automatic. Students must apply, provide required documents, meet eligibility conditions, and receive approval according to University policy.

How are refunds handled?

Refunds, if applicable, are processed according to University refund policy and the approved refund timeline. Admission or application fee is normally non-refundable unless a specific rule states otherwise.

How does the USA AI-first learning model work?

Students first learn concepts through their Personal AI Tutor at their own pace. Then, in mentor-led classes, they apply that knowledge through projects, discussions, problem-solving, and practical tasks.

What is the role of teachers and industry mentors?

Teachers build academic understanding, while industry mentors help students turn knowledge into practical work, career skills, startup ideas, and real-world performance.

Will students gain practical experience during the degree?

Yes. Students work on assignments, projects, digital tasks, workplace simulations, startup ideas, and field-related activities to build confidence and employable skills.
