Dean's Message

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Faculty of Computer Sciences. Prior to establishment of University of South Asia as degree awarding institution, it was the first renowned and reputable institute offering BCS (Bachelors of Computer Science) program in Pakistan. The Faculty has been the pioneer in producing qualified computer science graduates to date who are serving in the country and abroad adopting their career in education, business and particularly in Computer Science/Information Technology. The Faculty of Computer Sciences offers undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate programs led by qualified and experienced faculty passionate about teaching and research. Our flexible updated track-based curriculum allows students to select the courses that meet their career requirements. Keeping in view our country needs we impart quality education and train our students to meet future challenges ahead of ever rapidly changing world. The students who have decided to pursue degree in Computer Science, Information technology, and Software Engineering, there will be ample and bright opportunities for them in their future career.

We have excellent computer labs equipped with latest personal computer, networking environment and modern teaching aids / outstanding classroom facilities for learning environment to be conducive up to entire satisfaction of our students. The department always assists students in getting internships and securing jobs in various professional organizations through placement office. The alumni network is frequently tapped into and they visit the department, share their experience and provide valuable guidance to students regarding how to pursue their future careers keeping in view market trends and opportunities available in near future.

We are proud of our past achievements, and the role our graduates are playing in ICT sector’s development in Pakistan. Our prime focus is future-based, preparation and training of students to be exceptionally good and excel in competitive global environment they will enter upon doing graduation. Our qualified and dedicated faculty members remain fully involved in teaching to strengthen the capacity of students to be capable enough to find solutions of challenging issues. Assistance Programs

The following programs are available for students who need financial assistance:

All scholarship and financial assistance percentages are applicable only on tuition fee voucher.
Merit Based
100% Scholarship + 40,000 Stipend

Students achieving 90% and above marks in Inter & Matric exams qualify for this Scholarship.

Alumni Based
50% Scholarship

For applicants who have completed their Bachelors Degree from University of South Asia.

Work Based
30% Scholarship

Work for 2 hours daily and qualify for 30% fee assistance.

Covid-19 Special
30% Scholarship

Raiwind Road Students are Eligible for this Scholarship

Study Loan
100% Loan

Students with 70% or above marks can avail study loan facility of USA.

Due to limited number of seats, study loan is not available for DPT and Law programs.
