True leaders don’t create followers they produce more leaders. That’s exactly what Adeel Anwar’s (Director Organizational Excellence at Warid Telecom & President Pakistan Human Capital Forum) mission is in life.

Basic values are ignored in the race of achieving big, which is why Mr. Adeel emphasizes on the importance of the fundamental code of professional ethics. Hence the consequences of your actions always lie in the consistency of your act, values and principles in life. And whoever is careless with the small matters can never be trusted with important matter. And just like the wiser said, if you have integrity nothing else matters, and if you don’t have integrity, nothing else matters.

As Adeel accentuates, to be a fair leader you have to challenge wrong where it is wrong. Being kind is easy, but being fair is hard. And kind might bring you affection, but fair will get you the truth. You pick the value and you stick to it.  When you know the truth you speak the truth and even if you are the minority of One, the TRUTH is still the TRUTH.

Getting tasks done is no big deal when you are enjoying a superior position at a company. The real joy is putting efforts to persuade people, engage and implement decisions with warmth and togetherness and achieving a shared objective. Working in isolation might get you favorable results, but team work will make the dreams work !
