Two-day conference on “Re-Imagining the Silk Road- Pakistan Kyrgyzstan Relations in the Age of Connectivity” at the Sheraton Hotel in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

Mir Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani, Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan, who co-chaired the conference, said the conference was an attempt to advance regional connectivity goals for the common purpose of Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan to Pakistan, Eric Beshibimov, said that Pakistan is strategically important for Kyrgyzstan. As a landlocked country, Kyrgyzstan wants access to global markets through ports such as Gawadar and Karachi.

Mian Imran Masood Vice Chancellor (University of South Asia) addressed the conference and presented

University of South Asia. Honorable Vice Chancellor signed MOU with three International Institutions of Kyrgyzstan.

International Educational and

Scientific Cooperation Agreement is signed between University of South Asia and The Eurasian International Medical University (Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan) and the International Medical University of Kyrgyzstan (Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan).

Also an agreement is signed with The Association of Higher Medical Educational Institutions in The Kyrgyz Republic (AHMEI)
