Introduction

From Components of Fashion to Haute Couture to Production, this program is focused on the practical aspects of career preparation in the fashion design industry. The courses in the program provide students with both breadth and depth, as they explore the full gamut of relevant topics in fashion design. Online discussions and course activities require students to develop and apply critical thinking skills while the included games appeal to a variety of learning styles and keep students engaged. Fashion Design is the craft of utilization of design and style or normal excellence to attire and accessories.

Program Objectives

To identify and discuss concepts related to the historical background of fashion.

To learn design, production and evaluation of apparel products related to evolving design point-of-view and work aesthetics to various types of imaginative challenges and explore sustainability.

To identify and discuss concepts related to the management, marketing, and/or consumption of textile material and apparel products.

To demonstrate hands on techniques with strong back up of digital and graphic media that make fashion professionals.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have completed sixteen years of relevant education with 2.2 CGPA, second division or 50% marks i.e. applicants seeking admission in MBA must hold BBA degree or relevant business degree. It is to be noted that the admission will be granted after the interview by the Admission Committee after carefully reviewing the academic credentials.
