Program Overview

The Department of Pharmacy offers a professional degree in pharmacy. It is a first professional degree and a prerequisite for licensing to practice the profession of pharmacy or to become a clinical pharmacist. A Pharm-D program has significant experiential or clinical education components in introductory and advanced levels for the safe and effective use of drugs. Experiential education prepares graduates to be practice-ready, as they already have spent a significant amount of time training in areas of direct patient care and research.

        Admission Requirements

        Intermediate students whose Intermediate Part 1 and 2 are clear with Pre-Medical (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) and have scored a minimum of 660 / 1100 marks.

        A Level student who have cleared 3 A Level principal subjects with Biology, Chemistry, and Physics (No AS accepted), along with 8 O Level subjects including English, Mathematics and 3 compulsory subjects (Islamiyat, Pakistan Studies, and Urdu).

        Copies of Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) Equivalence Certificate(s) must be submitted by students who are from GCE O / A Level, High School, or International Baccalaureate (IB) The IBCC Equivalence must be in Pre-Medical with at least 660 / 1100 marks.
