The Atlantic Media Company (AMC) of the US has deemed Pakistan as one of the top rising economies from South Asia.

The ranking has been based on the political constancy and permanence of policies in the South Asian countries that comprise India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Nepal. AMC added that the improved safety condition in Pakistan resulted in economic solidity. In the January-July 2016 period, the Karachi Stock Exchange’s (KSE) 100 point index was of 17% while the Indian 100 point index was 6.67% only. The KSE 100 point index 2016 is also ranked 5th in the world’s top stock markets.
The report further states that Pakistan is becoming a leader in the South Asian region.The current economic corridor in Pakistan is attracting foreign investment in the country.The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor’s $46 billion venture is expected to further improve the economic conditions of Pakistan by answering problems such as unemployment and power crises.
